It’s where I check out 95% of the stuff I read from the library but if I love a book then I want to buy it for myself. Because of this, I go to a bookstore and have no interest in books I haven’t read then someone has to tell me what to buy. This seemed somewhat counterintuitive until I realized that if I kept up this behavior, I would have a personal library of only the best editions of all my favorite books. Maybe you do this, too.
The added extra is that if I buy one book buy a male author then I must also buy a book by a female author.
I just noticed this yesterday.
New year’s resolutions are easier to follow through when they’re written up all nice and pretty, right?!

My dinner today, tasted amazing!
My rugs arrived today! I bought 2 in the Crate and Barrel sale (at a bargain price for a 2” x 3” rug), it’s made out of scraps of jersey fabric and it’s so soft. I put one in my room next to my bed (can’t wait to roll out of bed and stick my feet in it tomorrow) and one in the kitchen, right by the couch and heater in front of the television - where I took this picture and where I will be glued for the next few hours…
Just wonderin’.
